TECHNICAL PROJECT
What I’ve Done
Remote Sensing for Slum Mapping and Characterization in sub-Saharan African Cities (SLUMAP)
Jun 2019 - Jul 2022
The project focused on the use of open-source framework to map and characterized slums in Sub-Sahara African cities.

Integrated Deprived Area Mapping System (IDEAMAPS)
Aug 2021 - Present
This project uses computer models to semi-automatically classify deprived urban areas from satellite imagery and other spatial datasets, which allows mapping efforts to be scaled up.

Analysis of Local OpenStreetMap contributions
2019-Present
This project applies data mining techniques to extract and analyze OpenStreetMap (OSM) contributions for humanitarian assistance.
